For over 40 years, Irondale has been making theatre that speaks up and speaks out in times of national crisis — and having a great time doing it. For Fear of Reprisal brings back three of our most daring pieces for a new moment of resistance.

Join us for three wild, wacky, and intimate staged readings that remind us what it means to question authority, challenge power, and keep laughing through it all.

Peter Panic: Flying Underground

Tuesday, November 18 at 7:30 PM

A comic political fantasy featuring Abbie Hoffman, Walt Disney, and Peter Pan — a roller coaster of truth, rebellion, and imagination.

Murrow’s Boys

Tuesday, December 2 at 7:30 PM

The story of Edward R. Murrow and his fearless band of journalists who told the truth when it mattered most.

Degenerate Art

Tuesday, December 16 at 7:30 PM

At the “Banned Cabaret”  a very unusual company of artists tells the story of the  infamous 1933 Munich Art exhibit, the 1990’s “Cultiure Wars” in America. The power of art can be used for the dark side as well as the enlightenment.

We will see you at The Space at Irondale!
